How to apply a Drivers License in Bahrain

Here are the lists of requirements for applying for a new license:
-> CPR
-> Passport
-> Picture - passport size with white background
-> Application form - you can get it from traffic directorate and fully filled up
-> Money in BD - as of May 2013, they are charging for 34.5BD

Step 1. If you are new and applying for a new driver's license/student license, make sure you go to Traffic Directorate (Isa Town place) and NOT in Driving School.

Step 2. Inside the Directorate, just look for a room where an eye test conducted since there are so many rooms and it's confusing where to go first.

Step 3. Get you priority number and wait for your turn to be entertain by assigned personnel.

Step 4. You were ask to do the eye test by the assigned personnel, during the test, don't push to hard your eyes so that when it gets its turn, it will not be hard to read the letters.

Step 5. After eye test has been successfully conducted, you will be redirected again to the assigned personnel to pay and have your scheduled driving seminars. They are also providing 2 booklets, one for "Traffic Code" and the other one where driving instructor will sign for hours that you completed for driving lessons.

Good to know about these steps to apply for license. Have to apply for my driving license and currently taking lessons from Port Macquarie Driving School i.e one of famous driving school. My friend also learnt driving from there and recommended me too.
